Independent Project

We were working on a Independent Project a few weeks ago. We started out as planning how to create the project with what material. But they have to be at least three different material.
Creating this project has to come out of your heart, what does the project mean to you, what's the message?
I created a Soviet Union-National Front for the Liberation of South Vietnam flag. My message for it is.. "Communism isn't that bad as you think, you're confusing Communism with Dictation."

I'm trying to convert the picture by adding a Online picture to create the project I was making.
I am finished but I did not take a picture with it and do not have anytime at all.

Forced Perspective / Miniatures / Bubbles

Force Perspective - Is a type of picture where you have one person close up to you and one at the far end trying to create a "weird picture". I cannot really explain but I have an example of it."There's a huge hand crushing a tiny guy's head." Turned out he's the same size but one is far out and one is nearby the camera. We went outside to try out Force Perspective and mine didn't turned out great..

He was suppose to kick my balls, LAWL! But the picture didn't turn out so great. However this picture is sort of force perspective.
Miniatures - I have no idea what this assignment is but all I know is that we took picture of cars close then farther then farther. We also went outside and I took some picture of a group of military on a tank or next to the tank.
One of my best picture at the moment.. Lost all my good ones.
Bubbles - We were taking picture of bubbles trying to get it reflect back to us. We went outside and mess around with the bubbles and tried capturing the best reflection of the bubbles. I captured some that reflected back on me but did not on some. But they were overall pretty good.

MY TOP BEST 5

A close look, You could see me right..?

You could see my in this bubble.

One of my second best bubbles picture. Blur in the back round.

Mosaic / Color Wheel

We are learning about Mosaic right now.

It's a type of picture or art created by bunch of other pictures.
It's pretty creative and sort of hard to do so I made a basic version of it. The present Vietnam flag (Not the one with stripes)

--
I apologize I went on vacation to California and not be able to finished the mosaic therefore there is nothing to show here.

--------------------

Color wheel is the assignment we did that involve being familiar with colors and how colors look like when they are mixed. I don't have my color wheel

Focusing on Photography

Last and this week, we were learning about how to take a picture.
Taking a picture is not just clicking down the buttons and tell everybody to say "CHEEEESEEEE!" Taking a picture takes time.
We learn how to adjust the light, remove the shadow, and focusing on catching the eyes because "The eyes is the most important for taking a picture"
I played around with focusing and trying to blur the back round as much as possible because I want to focus on the "eye" very sharp.
Here are some of my best work.
Kristyna - I was messing around with the lighting

Pencil, I was focusing on the pencil.

Focusing on the tree

Blurring everything.

I am still improving and learning more to adjust the lighting and such.

Portaits and Others

I was learning to focus on the eyes, these are the best I have at the moment

Claymation and Portraits

- 5/11/11 Update -
The animation was lagging my page and loading slowly so I decided to remove the picture and put it in the link.
If you want to see the Picture is removed due to copyrighted by Google
Yes I do notice it is shaky because I couldn't handle the camera very well - I'm a moving guy!

I couldn't upload the video so I put it on "animated GIF"

The link is [ CLICK ME TO GO TO THE PAGE! ] if you want to try to upload the "video" since you can't upload videos on blogger.com

Any how this is my claymation assignment and I was very shaky with the camera, I apologize.
This was fun to make actually and very interesting too!
I was using Edward Muybridge's idea for using still photos and putting them together to make it seem like motion.
This picture is about my sister (which we call her "elephant") eating some grass. So this is fully dedicated to my sister.
Remember to follow me and I'll try to follow you too!

Now I'm learning how to take a "good picture"
I learned that lighting is the MOST important part of the picture, and also the eyes is the important part if you wanna do portraits.
